Impeachment Talk Makes Trump Supporters More Motivated Than Ever

With the “witch hunt” continuing concerning the impeachment inquiry against President Trump, the president is taking to his campaign rallies to call out the lies from House Democrats and the fake media sources which is energizing and motivating Trump supporters ahead of the 2020 election.

While impeachment threats loom, “do-nothing” Democrats have made it their main goal and will do anything they can to move forward with necessary proceedings to attempt to remove Trump from office. But his supporters are not wavering and will stand behind the president. In fact, during the entire time that Trump has faced criticism in Washington over the Ukraine phone call and the removal of U.S. troops from Syria, he has seen welcoming receptions from supporters at his recent rallies in Minneapolis and Dallas.

Trump supporters agree that House Democrats are indeed a part of what Trump calls the “swamp” of Washington, D.C. and they need to be stopped. Supporters also agree that the attempt at impeachment is an illegitimate effort to take him down. Many also think that the deceitful attempts by House Dems to impeach the president will probably backfire and end up helping his re-election efforts in 2020 — even with all of the attacks against him.

Trump always seems to be at the center of criticism and attacks, and according to Trump supporters it’s not only Democrats going after Trump, but also members of the “deep state” of the government bureaucracy.

Trump supporters in Texas slammed the president’s accusers.

“That’s a bunch of guilty people trying to keep their crooks covered up,” said Naomi Hodgkins, a 64-year old semi-retired business consultant from Mesquite, TX. “They’re doing a psychological transference of their guilt to him … The Biden thing is going to go real deep.”

The sentiment was the same with Trump supporters in Minnesota at the rally on October 10, which was his first campaign event since the threat of impeachment. Supporters flocked to the rallies and waited in line for hours – and in some cases days – to ensure they got a spot.

Bloomington, MN resident Barb Koy attended Trump’s Minneapolis rally and said the inquiry is just “another game by the Democrats.”

“Everybody is tired of it. I know people who voted blue and they’re voting red now because they’re sick of it,” she said. “I’d think even if you’re a Democrat you’d be sick of it.”

Several supporters in Minneapolis and Dallas said they would not be surprised if the Democratic-led House impeached Trump, but they also say that it would just be a political act with no real meaning.

It is so easy to see the games the Dems are playing that even a teenager gets it. According to 15-year old high school student Caiden Anderson from Alvin, Texas who works as a volunteer at the Dallas rally, the House Democrats’ impeachment drive is “nothing.”

“Even if they get it past the House, they won’t get it in the Senate,” the high schooler said.

They all were confident that the Republican-dominated Senate would never vote to convict and remove Trump from office. Supporters truly expect Trump to be reelected in 2020.
