“Find Felix a Home!” — Liberal Protesters Refuse to Help “Illegal Immigrant”

Progressives aren’t the best at putting their money where their mouths are, and this just played out in real time during a pro-immigrant protest in Austin, Texas.

We shouldn’t be terribly surprised by what we’re seeing here. After all, it’s common knowledge that conservative Americans donate more to charity than their liberal neighbors do, and tend to personally participate more in charitable events. This is partly because conservatives are more likely to be involved with religious institutions, which place a hard emphasis on the value of giving and community. Progressives, on the other hand, prefer public policy changes to personal charity. Rather than put in the work themselves, they feel it makes more sense to have the heavy hand of government do it for them.

How many progressive celebrities — many of whom have three or four houses a piece — have virtue signaled for illegal immigrants over the past few years? Quite a lot. How many have actually gone down to the border, and accepted complete strangers into their homes — which they have accommodations for? Exactly none.

The people you see Liberty Hangout’s Kaitlin Bennet interview in the video below are not celebrities, so we shouldn’t expect them to have the same resources. However, that isn’t stopping them from asking the rest of the country to essentially leave its front door unlocked. Their attitudes about this seem to change wildly when confronted with an “illegal immigrant” who needs a home.

Watch Bennet’s hilarious round of interviews with confused (and sometimes angry) liberals who have no idea how hypocritical they look below.
