What’s the Scariest Part About the Bernie Sanders Platform?

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders isn’t like Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, or Elizabeth Warren — he’s been telling America exactly what he thinks about everything since the 1980s, or perhaps before when he refused to do any chores while living in a hippie commune.

In this respect, we have to give him credit — there’s not a whole lot of progressives who will do that these days, likely because they understand that their chances of being elected would be close to zero. But, Bernie has continually surpassed expectations, and continues to poll pretty well despite his radical politics. There are some who still make the argument that he actually won the Democratic primary in 2016, not Clinton. That argument is probably wrong, but the passion of his supporters is testament to the fact that he has, for better or for worse, had a profound impact on the Democratic electorate.

This is where we will stop saying nice things about Bernie Sanders. The man wants to fundamentally transform, in his own words, everything about the country he’s been benefitting from. The very things that have made the United States of America the world’s foremost superpower: free markets, property rights, competition in the economy, you name it — all of those things disappear if Bernie Sanders gets his way.

Sure, his stance on guns isn’t quite as looney as the rest of the field — perhaps its hard to get elected in Vermont if you’re against the Second Amendment. But, the rest of his platform is truly terrifying.

What would be the worst part of a Bernie Sanders administration? One America News takes a look in the video below.
